Restoration Yard, Scotland’s most exciting new home and lifestyle store, has opened its doors in Dalkeith Country Park near Edinburgh with the help of creative director, Amanda Pratt, former owner of Avoca – the leading Irish retail brand and voted one of the world’s most inspirational stores.

The mix here is eclectic and diverse, everything from homewares to fashion to a foodhall. The focus is on design and colour, quality and authenticity.

Developed by Buccleuch, Restoration Yard's store, café and wellbeing lab are in the gorgeously renovated 18th century stables at Dalkeith in the heart of its 1000 acre estate. The building has been sensitively restored to create a balance between showcasing the original features, including the clock tower and ceiling beams, to transform it into a striking retail and leisure destination. With over 40 new jobs and lots of local suppliers and artisan producers being stocked, new life has been breathed into a dormant treasure - one now to be explored.
